Volodya Mulyavin, a simple guy from Soviet Sverdlovsk, dreams of creating his own band, ignoring the ridicule of his peers and his mother's protests. A dream comes true unexpectedly. Thanks to his talented guitar playing, Volodya quickly gained popularity among his colleagues in the military unit in Belarus and created the vocal ensemble Pesnyary, which became the most popular Soviet band of the 1970s.
